BIts of my research process for Feast of Bugs, a 3D action-adventure game concept developed by Casa Rara.

I got the chance to work with concept artist Thierry Doizon to design the main character.
I was tasked with creating a 3D version of the Kid, a bit of a weirdo that eats bugs in the wild to survive, stealing their abilities.

This high poly sculpt goal was to stay true to the cartoony, imperfect look while bringing the modern touch of next gen rendering techs.
Sculpted in Zbrush, rendered real time in Blender (Evee).
